I waited for my connection in Detroit to Portland. Not much going on just people waiting. Just before boarding, we were told that they had overbooked the flight. I opted for the chance to take a later flight. However, the woman checking us in thought that there was actually room for me. I started to board and found out when I got on the airplane for there was not anymore room. So, I opted for the later flight to Portland. I don't have anyone waiting for me in Portland so what not. What did this mean? Leaving at 9:00 p.m. and getting into Portland around 11 p.m. Coupons galore! Food coupons for $15 and $300 for another flight within the year. Maybe I will just use it to go back to see Kel in Michigan!
Anyway, here I am at the Detroit 500 bar drinking beer, eating taco chips with salsa, doing Facebook, IMing Kel on Gmail. My cell phone is almost dead so I will just email and other things. The bar is full of people going who knows where. Some people are waiting for a connection that either delayed or on time.
I have 42 minutes left on my battery so I will be on line for less than that time. I played Poker Palace with Ken for a short while. Now on to my gate for boarding!
