Kel and I chatted all the way to the airport. She took four photos altogether - two leaving her house and two at the airport! I can't wait to see them posted.
I promised Kel that I would have a Koegel hot dog so I did that soon after I checked in. I love not checking luggage. Electronic check in, get boarding pass and go! Well, I certainly can't forget the security checkpoint. I did not get stopped this time because I took off my earrings and ring. No noise at all. Phew!
Anyway, I am sitting here checking Facebook and wondering what everyone else is doing. It is 3:45 p.m. and boarding is around 3:55 p.m. My flight is at 4:20 p.m. There are a few people here at the airport at Gate 2 to Detroit but not many. People sitting at the bar in their pre-flight mode. I didn't think I had time to have a beer so I decided to sit here and blog instead. People are debarking the flight that just came in. I wonder if they are just coming from Detroit. They could be but I certainly don't know for sure. I am not getting up to check. Well, no funny stories today. It is just all pre-boarding excitement or not. I can't wait to get home! Well, I will get to the Portland Jetport and then head home. I should be home by 9:00 p.m. or so! I have work tomorrow.
